		Professor Steve Bottomley is a National Health and Medical Research Council Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Monash University. He is internationally recognised for his work on understanding protein misfolding and its links with disease. In collaboration with the ARC Centre he has established the Monash University Protein Production Unit, an automated protein production and purification facility that enables researchers to express and purify their proteins in a high-throughput manner.
