Professor Paul Hertzog is the Director of the Centre for Functional Genomics and Human Disease at the Monash Institute of Medical Research (MIMR), Clayton, an Associate Director of the MIMR, and a Principal Research Fellow of the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia.
 
Amongst his scientific achievements are publications in the high ranking journals such as Cell, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Blood, Journal of Biological Chemistry and Journal of Immunology. Professor Hertzog is also a member of the Council of the International Society for Interferon and Cytokine Research and the Co-convenor (with Centre Research Director Professor Ben Adler) of the Monash Infection and Immunity Network.
