		Professor Christina Mitchell is the Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences and the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. Professor Mitchell trained as a physician scientist and specialised in clinical haematology. She is recognised for her work in Cellular Signalling and is focussing on the signalling mechanisms in cancers cells and macrophages, and understanding how abnormal signalling can lead to immune diseases.
