		Dr Ian Wilkie is a researcher/lecturer at the School of Veterinary Science at The University of Queensland, St Lucia. His current area of research is in the pathogenesis of diseases caused by Pasteurella, especially Avian Cholera and Haemorrhagic Septicaemia. He has been cooperating with the Molecular Pathogenesis group at Monash University for several years, and is currently involved in a joint project to define virulence attributes of P.multocida type A for mice and chickens.
