		Research areas Dr Harper is investigating the virulence factors of the broad host pathogen Pasteurella multocida. Her current research is focused on the structure and function of the lipopolysaccharids (LPS) component of the outer membrane and its role in virulence. This work is done in collaboration with Dr Andrew Cox at the Institute of Biological Sciences, National Research Council, Canada.
