Professor John Egerton is an Emeritus Professor of Animal Health at the University of Sydney.
		His research interests include: lameness in sheep goats and cattle, treatment and vaccination against Dichelobacter nodosus infections, role of conventional and rDNA vaccines in eradication of footrot, and heritability of resistance to footrot in Merinos. His other research interests include: anthrax in pigs, necrotic enteritis (Clostridium perfringens Type C infection) in New Guinea highlanders.
