		Research areas halid is a PhD student under the supervision of Professor James Whisstock, Professor John Davies and Professor Geoff Webb. His main research interests include bioinformatics and machine learning/data mining. He is particularly interested in developing computational approaches for comparative genomics and mining of protein sequence and structure data.
