		Research areas Tim is a postgraduate student working with Professor Ben Adler and Dr Dieter Bulach to investigate the mechanisms of pathogenesis and immunity in the causative agent of swine dysentery Brachspira hyodysenteriae. He is particularly interested in surface-exposed outer membrane proteins and the putative virulence factors of this organism.
